These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Ownur application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Ownur (“Ownur,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using Ownur, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Accounts are for a single person; you may invite others to a shared Household from within the app.
You retain ownership of the information you submit — including asset details (home addresses, vehicle data, VINs), maintenance notes, photos, and completion history (collectively, “Your Content”). You grant Ownur a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf.
You represent that Your Content is yours to submit and does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law.
Ownur provides general maintenance reminders, task templates, and AI-generated guidance. This content is informational only and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional — including, without limitation, mechanics, HVAC technicians, licensed contractors, veterinarians, doctors, dentists, financial advisors, or attorneys. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your property, vehicles, health, pets, and finances. When a task involves safety (electrical, gas, structural, medical, etc.), hire a qualified professional.
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate responses based on your inputs. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify important information independently before acting on it. Ownur does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Ownur may show affiliate product links and referrals to third-party service providers (“Pros”). We may earn a commission when you purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. Purchases, bookings, and services obtained from third parties are contracts solely between you and that third party. Ownur is not a party to those contracts, does not endorse or warrant any third-party product or service, and is not responsible for their quality, safety, pricing, or outcomes.
You consent to receive transactional and reminder messages from Ownur by email, SMS, and/or push notification according to your preferences. Message and data rates may apply for SMS. You can adjust channels or opt out at any time from within the app; some messages (e.g., security or legal notices) are required and cannot be disabled while your account is active.

The Service — including its software, design, trademarks, templates, and content we provide — is owned by Ownur or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the Service. On termination, we may retain certain records (e.g., completion history, transaction logs) as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. OWNUR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OWNUR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST DATA; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON CONTENT IN THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ownur from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
